Information you provide

When you request a table, we collect your name, phone number, preferred date and time, party size, number of tables, booking length, and any notes you choose to include. The request also has a reference number, submission time, and reservation status. Please avoid including payment information or unnecessary sensitive personal details in the notes.

For venue bookings and tour requests, we also collect your email address, occasion, expected guest count, and whether you would like Fish n Tingz catering. These details are available to authorized staff coordinating your request with Legacy Events CT, the separate venue business under the same ownership.

How information is used

Reservation details are used to review your request, contact you about availability, manage your booking, and prevent duplicate or abusive submissions. Submitting a reservation request does not sign you up for marketing.

How information is protected

Website and booking connections use HTTPS. Convex documents encryption of stored customer data at rest. Access to booking records requires authorized staff sign-in; public availability shows times only. Staff passwords are salted and hashed, and notification credentials stay on the server. Pushover alerts use encrypted connections but are not configured for end-to-end encryption. Avoid adding payment details or sensitive information to booking notes.

Where information goes

Table requests, venue bookings, and tour requests are stored using Convex and are available to authorized restaurant staff through the admin portal. The public menu does not display reservation details. Website hosting and database providers may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect their services.

Reservation and booking alerts are sent to authorized staff devices through Pushover. These alerts include booking details and contact information so staff can follow up. Notification delivery records are retained in the staff portal. Alerts are operational, not marketing messages.

Payments are not collected on this website. Online ordering takes you to Toast, which handles its own checkout and information practices. Legacy Events CT’s HoneyBook scheduler, maps, social media, and other external websites apply their own privacy policies when you visit them.

Cookies and browser storage

This public website currently has no analytics or advertising cookies enabled. It uses local browser storage for features you request:

• Menu picks: your selected dishes, options, and quantities are saved on your device so your list can remain available between visits.
• Cookie notice: your acknowledgement is saved on your device so the notice stays dismissed until your browser data is cleared or the notice is updated.

These records remain in your browser until you remove them or clear site data. You can remove individual menu picks using the menu’s “Your picks” controls. Clearing browser storage resets both your picks and the notice. Staff sign-in storage is separate from the public menu.

Retention and your choices

Reservation records are kept to manage requests, follow up with guests, and address service questions. They are not automatically erased when a reservation date passes. To ask about a record, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, contact the restaurant. We may need to verify that the request relates to you, and some information may need to be retained for operational or legal reasons.
